Car Hire Services

Unless otherwise specified all services are Chauffeur Driven Hire services are subject to the following Terms and Conditions

Important Note Concerning the Carrying of Children.

We regret that no child requiring child safety seats can be carried as these vehicles are not suitable for child seats. Older children over the age/size requiring child seats can be carried provided that no minor under the age of fourteen is carried in the front seat of the car.

      

​Car Hire Bookings

Bookings can be paid for by cheque or electronic transfer. A non refundable deposit of £100 per vehicle is payable at time of booking, the balance of the hire charge is payable 30 days before the hire start date.

The customer is responsible for any tolls, charges and parking fees incurred during the hire.

Booking Cancellation Charges

In the event of a booking being cancelled the following charges will apply.

Cancellation 60 days or more prior to the wedding booking 50% of the hire charge is payable.

Cancellation within 60 days prior to a  wedding or event hire booking, the full hire charge is payable.

Cancellations should be made in writing or by email.

Car Availability

In some circumstances we may contract in vehicles, this may be where our own car is already booked or in two car packages. The customer will always be notified if this is the case and we will act as booking agents for such cars. For two car packages we will be the single point of contact until the day of service. If our car is not available and a contract vehicle is proposed we will handle the initial booking, once the booking is confirmed the contract vehicle owner will be the point of contact and handle the booking from that point. Where such vehicles are contracted in the vehicle owner is responsible to the customer for honouring these terms and conditions.

In the event of  breakdown or any other event beyond our control we reserve the right to provide a substitute vehicle, which may not be the same as the vehicle booked, or if  no substitute vehicle is available, a full refund.

If we are unable to complete the booking for whatever reason we will not be held responsible or liable for any arising consequential losses and any liability on our part will be limited to the money paid by the customer.

Personal Property

We are not responsible for any loss or damage to personal property left in our vehicles.

Chauffeur only Service

The customer  is responsible for any Tolls, Charges and Parking Fees incurred in providing the service and ensuring their vehicle is fully insured for the Chauffeur to drive.

Payment is due on the day of service unless otherwise agreed

Customer Acceptance

By making a booking the Customer agrees to these terms and conditions.

OUR DATA PROTECTION STATEMENT

Your personal data is safe with us, we do not collect email addresses forwarding them to third parties, that would be illegal.

Your personal data will be retained for a period of six months following the date of your wedding, at which time all will be deleted. If you require us to delete it at some other point in time please email info@henleyclassiccarhire.co.uk with your request. The exception being the documentation that HMRC requires us to keep for a minimum of six years following our annual tax return. That documentation will be encrypted and password protected following our tax return and only re-opened at the request of HMRC. Once the six years has expired all information will then be destroyed. Other than us no other party will have access to any of your data with the exception of our accountants who will be able to access only that which they need to complete our annual tax return to HMRC.
